Koigu Painters Palette Premium Merino is a 4ply 100% merino wool. Each skein has been hand painted and so each dye lot is different. If you are making something that takes more than one skein it is therefore important to purchase from the same dye lot. All the colours are rainbow or jewel like and the colours in the photos are as true as we can make them. In certain cases especially with the blues and purples some of the true colours are slightly darker.

Each 50gm skein is 175yds/160m. It is recommended that the wool be knitted on 3mm needles. 28 sts = 10cm/4"
